Digesters

The project for the City of Rockledge involved installing a 1.4 MG flow equalization basin, including foundation slabs, walls, stairs, weirs, gates, and railings. Two jet mixing systems and three EQB transfer pumps were included, along with a paved sludge drying bed and a new electrical precast building for existing pumps. New and replacement sanitary manholes were installed, alongside a storm drainage system with a reinforced concrete pipe and a new stormwater dry pond. A 1600KW diesel generator and a metal thickener building with gravity belt thickeners and ancillary equipment were also part of the scope. Improvements were made to existing digesters, including new diffusers and mixers, while two horizontal centrifugal blowers were replaced with variable speed rotary lobe blowers. New equipment pads and sludge feed pumps were also installed.
