Ground Storage Tanks

Sunburst Lane WTP Improvements Clermont, FL

The project involved constructing a new 3.0 MG ground storage tank and two well houses with pumps and an emergency generator, along with associated piping and electrical upgrades. Key elements included several deductive change orders for pipe, well pumps, and generator adjustments. The 16" water-main tie-in and dirt work were completed, and the PLC in the chemical process was replaced. An alternate MTE Filter for VFDs was considered, and value engineering was applied to the roof. Sheet piles were rented, and a transformer was added at the generator. The effluent pipe was adjusted for tank elevations, and a temporary tapping sleeve was installed for air release. A portion of the 6" drain pipe was deducted due to layout changes, floor drains were added to well houses, and additional conduit and wire were installed for exterior keypad installation. Modifications were made to the existing 24" raw watermain, and the roof joints on the Dutchland Ground Storage Tank were repaired.
